education on how to MANAGe BLOOD SUGAR, CHOLESTEROL, & other chronic conditions
“Dalina and the Chula Club have been life-savers in the journey to abundant living. In a session with Dalina, I felt understood and was given tools that could actually help me…”
After an accident and a very stressful year that limited my mobility, I sought advice for addressing a high glucose reading and heavy menstrual bleeding. The doctors I saw told me to stop eating tortillas and limit sugars and carbs. I was angry and scared. If not eating tortillas was the solution it would have already worked. Easy-fix medicine that just limits cultural foods and sugars fails to address the roots of problems and kills people each year. Dalina and the Chula Club have been life-savers in the journey to abundant living. In a session with Dalina, I felt understood and was given tools that could actually help me regulate my blood sugar through this limited mobility journey. I began reading a few of the articles in the Chula Club and I've joined a few calls where I've been able to ask specific questions that have alleviated my fear around keeping my cultural foods. I am so grateful for the expansive frameworks Dalina and the Club have!

Coaching on how to HeAL your RELATIONSHIP TO FOOD
“The Chula Club forever changed my life.”
Through all my grief, depression, and other life issues, I was kind to my body.
Prior to the Chula Club, when I went through struggles, I often did not eat, and my body always felt so tired. But now.....I feel free to eat, to feed my body so it can keep pushing through the barriers. This has been one of my biggest achievements, as I never thought I would be able to get to a place where my nutrition was stable, and free. With the amount of stress in my life, it is freeing to not have to fear food or have added stress regarding food.
This would not have been possible without your coaching.

A vibrant COMMUNIDAD
“Undoing diet culture is hard. I am so happy I had these women to cheer me on and lift me up.”
I gained a community of folks that made me feel comfortable talking about nutrition that was nonjudgmental and open. I learned that my cultural foods were loaded with nutrition and we often had full community discussion on how amazing they are. I loved being able to share my wedding pictures and my journey as a bride, I loved having a safe space to talk about my traditions without having to explain what they were, because everyone knew. In the Chula Club I had the ability to lean in and ask for advice from women that looked like me and who just understood. Undoing diet culture is hard. I am so happy I had these women to cheer me on and lift me up.
