“So I’ve been trying to pay more attention to health lately and it only occurred to me a few days ago how different that looks for me now than it used to. In the past if I thought of “getting healthy,” I would just fantasize about losing a bunch of weight and posting photos of myself online and people would see how “healthy” I was getting. But lately it’s been found in things like making sure I step away from my work for meals, going on morning walks to start my day and enjoying some fresh air, trying to increase endurance, yoga to alleviate back pain and making all the doctors and dental visits I’d been putting off. I actually had to step back, pause, and realize how much of a step forward that is for me and how much my view of what is healthy for me has truly become multi-faceted instead of a 1 dimensional “solution” that wasn’t helping me at all. And I realized how many aspects of my health I ignored because I thought everything would snap into place if I lost weight. So grateful for this change and for the help your program provided.”
